He is also a final year Sexual Health Advanced Trainee. Interests include HIV prevention, managing acute HIV infection, emerging STI management issues and addressing sexualised drug use in the MSM population. Katy Roy ASHM Katy Roy is the HIV Program Manager at ASHM and has worked in the HIV sector in Sydney for the past 15 years in both health and not for profit organisations. Shannon has been nursing for 27 years and has worked as a nurse and midwife in both acute and community based settings in metropolitan and rural areas. Shannon has worked in the area of Sexual Health and HIV for the past 18 years. Shannon completed a Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) course in 2010 and has been employed as a Nurse Practitioner at Canberra Sexual Health Centre since. Shannon is currently President of the Australasian Sexual Health and HIV Nurses Association.
