Amy works across the Ambulatory Care and Research teams at The Langton Centre as a Drug and Alcohol Counsellor and Research Assistant. She is currently completing her Master of Clinical Psychology with her research looking into the relationship between subjective and objective cognitive functioning in consumers at The Langton.

David is the Naloxone Training Co-ordinator at the Canberra Alliance for Harm Minimisation & Advocacy (CAHMA). He holds a Bachelor of Science (ANU) as well as Cert IV Alcohol & Drugs and Cert IV Training & Assessment. He has worked at CAHMA for 5 years and is particularly interested in harm reduction and peer education.

Rachel Bush is a PhD Candidate at Deakin University. Rachel has worked as a Research Assistant on several projects including the beyondblue funded Rainbow Women’s Help Seeking Study. Rachel’s PhD study will examine the efficacy of an SMS intervention for same-sex attracted women to support alcohol reduction.

Biography

Cassandra is a Research Officer at the Burnet Institute. Her PhD (under examination) was focused on the development of an ecological momentary intervention to reduce risky single occasion drinking in young adults. She is currently coordinating an NHMRC-funded trial of this intervention.
