Biography

Peter has a background in community development and has worked with marginalised populations for over 25 years. His field based research has been focused on risk and people who inject drugs. His current research interests involve working with cohorts of people who inject drugs including older people, ethnic Vietnamese and people living with hepatitis C.

Nadine Ezard is the Clinical Director, Alcohol & Drug Service at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney and Conjoint Associate Professor, University of NSW. A founding fellow of the Australasian Chapter of Addiction Medicine, her experience includes work with the UN and WHO, focusing on conflict settings and refugee populations.
