Biography

Dr Michelle King is a sociologist and lawyer: her research focuses on decision-making, and how law works in practice for people with disabilities in health and other systems. Michelle also has lived experience as a parent and supporter of her adult daughter who has profound intellectual and multiple disabilities.

Biography

Eun Ju (Jenny) Kim is a Transition Care Coordinator with Trapeze, the health transition service at Sydney Children's Hospitals Network (SCHN). Paris Lay-Yee and Fiona Jiang are members of the SCHN Youth Council and have many years in advocating for young people's rights to equitable healthcare.

Rachael is a Health Information Manager by background and has worked in various parts of the NSW Health system for over twenty years. She has worked at the Agency for Clinical Innovation since 2012 in the Aboriginal Chronic Care team and now as the Transition Care Network Manager since 2020.

Silvana Techera is the Transition Care Coordinator for the South Eastern region of NSW with the Agency for Clinical Innovation. With qualifications in paediatric nursing and adult education, she is passionate about guiding young people through healthcare transitions and driving equitable, person-centred care in collaboration with clinicians.

Dr Ellie Robson is a passionate and ambitious early-career post-doctoral population health researcher working on the Child to Adult Transition Study (CATS) at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. She combines her academic expertise with her lived experience to contribute meaningfully to the field of adolescent mental health research.
