Leah Higgins is a Nurse Prescriber at the nurse-led Rodger Wright Community Clinic and the peer-led Needle Exchange in Christchurch, with 15 years’ experience in harm reduction and outreach across Melbourne and Christchurch. She is passionate about supporting people experiencing homelessness and people who use drugs and is a strong advocate for equitable healthcare access.

Anne Craigie has spent 21 years working as a nurse in prisons. She has done her time! Prison nursing work has occurred alongside diverse acute tertiary and community nursing roles. Since 2015, she has been as one of the nursing team assessing, treating and managing liver disease in Victoria’s prisons through St Vincent’s Hospital’s internationally recognised Statewide Hepatitis Prison Program. In 2021 Anne achieved endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner. She is now responsible for the Program’s hepatitis B and C treatment coordination. She is also an s100 HIV prescriber. In May 2024, she started a Nurse Practitioner and CNC led clinic @ St Vincent’s along with her colleague Susanne Glasgow.

Alex Wade is a Clinical Nurse Consultant in Hepatology working with people living with viral hepatitis and experiencing hardship, on the Mid North Coast of NSW, Australia and works across the HIV and Related Programs Unit and AOD services in her region. She is Principal Investigator on several HCV related research projects. Alex is the current secretary and public officer for the Australasian Hepatology Association. When not nursing Alex finds herself absorbed in the Bee-haviour in her Apiary and planning her ever growing permaculture garden.
