Dr Nathan Ryder is a sexual health physician and Clinic Director of Sexual Health for the Hunter New England Region of NSW. Newcastle. Nathan has chaired the Australian Multijurisdictional Syphilis Outbreak Working Group since 2015.

Dawn is a descendant of the Tagalaka clan in North Queensland. Dawn held full-time positions of Director of the Western Australian and Powerhouse Museum and National Museum of Australia. Dawn’s career also includes a number of key executive positions in the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, Indigenous Affairs, Cultural Heritage and Overseas Aid and Development. Dawn has been awarded three Honorary Doctorates (Charles Sturt, QLD and Macquarie Universities), Commonwealth Government’s Public Service Medal (PSM), Australian Government’s Centenary Medal, Three Australia Day Public Service Medals, and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities.

My main interest lies in developing Sexual Health and HIV services in Low Resource environments such as the remote parts of Australia, Papua New Guinea and other Pacific Island countries.

Dr Lucas de Toca is the Assistant Secretary, Health Plan, Early Years and Engagement for the Indigenous Health Division for the Department of Health. In this role he is responsible for the Health Implementation Plan, Child and Family Health as well as Stakeholder Engagement with the Indigenous Health Sector. This also includes leading the national taskforce to address the syphilis outbreak in northern and central Australia.

Amanda Sibosado is a proud Aboriginal woman who has more than 13 years experience working in Aboriginal sexual health across regional, remote and metropolitan communities. She has now been with SAHMRI working on the Young Deadly Free project since early 2017.
