Dr Christopher Bourne is
• Head of NSW STI Programs Unit at the Centre for Population Health, NSW Health;
• Senior Staff Specialist at Sydney Sexual Health Centre, and
• Conjoint Associate Professor at the Kirby Institute, Sexual Health Program, UNSW. His interests include population health and health service implementation, research and evaluation related to STI and HIV strategy with a focus on priority populations and settings.
He has worked in sexual health medicine for 30 years in urban, rural and remote Australian settings; provided consultancies in South East Asia and written and trained healthcare workers how to apply sexual health care guidelines in clinical practice.

She worked in the community-based HIV response before moving to a teaching and research role at Curtin University. She is the President of the Australian Health Promotion Association.

Dr Roanna Lobo has worked in the School of Public Health at Curtin University, WA, since 2003. She currently manages the SiREN project - Sexual Health and Blood Borne Virus Applied Research and Evaluation Network. Roanna has expertise in conducting qualitative research with vulnerable populations and facilitating evidence-based practice/policy.
