Sandra Norman has been working in the field of sexuality for 20 years and in disability for 10 years. As an educator her work spans the topics of sexual health, domestic violence, suicide prevention and aged care. She currently works for SECCA and for Living Proud.

Biography

Stephen Bell, a social scientist at the Kirby Institute, conducts community-based research in partnership with young people and other marginalised populations in a variety of settings in Africa, Asia, Pacific-Asia and Australia using qualitative, participatory and ethnographic methods to explore sexual, reproductive and maternal health, and other public health issues.

Kate Whitford is a Project Officer and PhD candidate in the Public Health Interventions Research Group, Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney. Kate has a background in surveillance of HIV, STIs and blood-borne viruses, and is currently working on projects investigating HIV and STI prevention in marginalised populations in Australia and internationally.
