Biography

David is Director of the Western Sydney Sexual Health Centre and Professor at the University of Sydney. David provided technical input into the WHO’s recent STI treatment guideline revisions, and is assisting the Global Antibiotic Research & Development Partnership and GlaxoSmithKline with their efforts to bring new antimicrobial agents for gonorrhoea into clinical practice.

Biography

Catriona Bradshaw [MMBS(Hons), FAChSHM, PhD] is a sexual health consultant and head of the Genital Microbiota and Mycoplasma Group at Melbourne Sexual Health Centre and an Associate Professor at the Central Clinical School, Monash University. Catriona focuses on translational research to improve treatment & control of sexually transmitted infections, particularly Mycoplasma genitalium (MG), an STI which has developed resistance to available therapies

Dee Durukan is a final year medical student at Monash University and a PhD candidate at Melbourne Sexual Health Centre. Her research focuses on investigating antimicrobial therapies for Mycoplasma Genitalium and assessing the tolerability of a non-invasive treatment for oncogenic HPV infection in HIV positive men.
