Byron Minas is a Senior Project Officer at the Department of Health Western Australia. For the past nine years he has managed the surveillance of HIV notifications in WA and has prepared a number of reports on the epidemiology of HIV in the state.

Dr Jacqueline Stephens (BSc(Hon) MPH PhD) is an early career researcher and postdoctoral research fellow who is interested in reducing healthcare system burdens and improving access to healthcare services. Her research has identified geographical disparity, financial insecurity, and disrupted family dynamics as factors influencing access to healthcare across Australia.
