Mark is a consultant haematologist with a clinical and research interest in the prevention and treatment of malignancies in people with immune deficiencies, including HIV. He has a particular focus on malignancies caused by infectious agents, which are a key contributor to the burden of cancer in these communities. He leads clinical trials in infection related cancers, HIV comorbidities, and HIV therapy underway in more than 20 countries.

Mary has worked as a clinical epidemiologist at the Kirby Institute for 17 years. Her research has focussed on biomedical HIV prevention, HIV and cancer, and anal HPV and associated diseases. She was the clinical project leader of the Study of the Prevention of Anal Cancer.

Associate Professor Dr. Jason Ong is a sexual health physician and health economist. His research is among vulnerable populations who are often marginalized including men who have sex with men living with HIV. He is based at Melbourne Sexual Health Centre, and has projects in Africa, SE Asia and Australia.
