Progress towards the three zeros in Asia and the Pacific: a 2020 data update
Biography
As Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific, Mr. Eamonn Murphy supports countries across the region in achieving the goals outlined in the 2016 United Nations Political Declaration on Ending AIDS. He leads and facilitates a joint United Nations response to support countries and their HIV programmes, which includes strengthening the links between governments, civil society, the United Nations system and development partners.
Mr Murphy has previously served as UNAIDS Country Director in Myanmar and Viet Nam. Before joining the United Nations, Mr Murphy held a number of senior positions with the Australian Government, including Assistant Secretary for Communicable Diseases and Environmental Health and Director of the National AIDS Programme for the Commonwealth Health Department.
Prof Adeeba Kamarulzaman

Challenges and opportunities as a result of COVID-19 on the HIV response in Asia
Biography
Professor Kamarulzaman trained as an Infectious Diseases physician and is presently the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya and an Adjunct Associate Professor at Yale University.
Her clinical and research focus has been in HIV prevention and treatment in key populations. She directs the Centre of Excellence for AIDS Research (CERiA) at the University of Malaya and is presently President of the International AIDS Society and Chairman of the Malaysian AIDS Foundation. Professor Kamarulzaman has been a Co-Chair of the WHO Strategic and Technical Advisory Committee on HIV and is currently a member of the UNAIDS Advisory Group.

Adapting HIV services in response to COVID-19 in low resource settings: experience from PNG
Biography
John Millan is an ASHM Advisor and president from the PNG Sexual Health Society. He has been working as a physician since 1985 in PNG and actively engaged with the HIV sector since 1996. He funded the PNG Sexual Health Society and working closely with ASHM in The Sexual & Reproductive Health Integration Project (SRHIP) and the Collaboration for Health in Papua New Guinea (CHPNG) project for the past 12 years.
