Biography

Peter Locke is Manager of Clinical Services at Thorne Harbour Health. He manages services catering to gender and sexually diverse communities including The Centre Clinic, offering HIV care, sexual health and LGBTIQ health services, Equinox, a general practice that for the trans, gender diverse community and PRONTO!, a peer rapid HIV and STI testing service.

Biography

Son Vivienne is currently Trans Lead at Thorne Harbour Health in Training and Capacity Development and convenes the Transcripts seminar series. They also hold a part time position in the Peer-Support Program at Transgender Victoria. They are a Board Director at LGBTQI+ youth advocacy NGO, Minus18, and Secretary of Transgender Victoria with particular interest in Access & Inclusion and Peer Support. Son has a background in media production and a PHD in digital self-representation, storytelling, online activism for and by queer identities. Their work on digital storytelling is published as Digital Identity and Everyday Activism: Sharing Private Stories with Networked Publics (Palgrave, 2016). Son’s less-verbose, more-embodied projects include cultivating abundance in their garden, and generosity in their children. Biography

Professor Martin Holt specialises in HIV prevention research with gay and bisexual men. He has worked at the Centre for Social Research in Health since 2003. Over the last 10 years he has researched the impact of biomedical HIV prevention on community norms, attitudes and practices.

Biography

Kath co-leads the Digital Inclusion Program in Swinburne's Social Innovation Research Institute and is an Associate Investigator in the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society. She led the ARC Linkage 'Safety, Risk and Wellbeing on Dating Apps', in partnership with ACON and Family Planning NSW.

Daniel has extensive experience in policy consultation, research, analysis, and development. Prior to joining the Alliance, Daniel was actively involved in party politics, campaigning at the national and state level, and worked for a federal MP. He is passionate about evidence-based policy and advocacy that achieves practical change for LGBTI communities.

Biography

Elizabeth Duck-Chong is a health promotion and peer worker, health researcher, freelance writer, and filmmaker, whose essays and non-fiction have been published widely. In her role at ACON she was the content and development lead for TransHub, an Australia-first health resource. Liz's pronouns are she/her.
