Peter is Director of the Gay Men’s Sexual Health research group at the University of Auckland. He has a 20 year career in HIV prevention theory, research and policy. Current projects include HIV behavioural and epidemiological surveillance, PrEP, HPV and gonorrhoea vaccines, sexual orientation data collection and illicit drug use.

Mo is also the Senior Research Manager and PhD candidate at the Kirby Institute. He was responsible for the design and implementation of an automated cohort management systems which was adapted for use in two Australian PrEP trials, and the national drug study ‘Flux’ which is expanding to New Zealand.
Steve Philpot is a sociologist completing his PhD at the Kirby Institute. His research focuses on gay men's romantic relationships, HIV prevention, sexual health, and sexual behaviours.

With a background in social science and public health, Angela holds a joint appointment with The Kirby Institute, UNSW and PNG Institute of Medical Research (IMR). Angela leads the Sexual and Reproductive Health Unit at IMR, with projects in sexual health, reproductive health, HIV, violence, gender and sexuality and TB.
Angela will be co-presenting with Dr Peniel Boas, Program Head of HIV and STIs, The National Department of Health, Papua New Guinea
