Kathleen's PhD evaluated PRONTO!, a peer-led rapid HIV testing service in Melbourne, Australia. She currently works on HIV passive surveillance, the Victorian HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis study, PrEPX, and the hepatitis C elimination partnership. Kathleen has a keen interest in evaluating public health initiatives, particularly those that target infectious diseases.

Sunita is a sexual health physician working at Auckland Regional Sexual Health Service. She is lead investigator of the NZPrEP study and has published on a range of sexual health topics in peer-reviewed journals. Her research interests include syphilis and public health aspects of control of sexually transmitted infections.

Garrett is an associate professor at the Kirby Institute where he has worked since 1992. He has been active in gay community life in Australia since the mid-1970s, pioneered Australia’s behavioural surveillance work and led many of Australia’s major cohort studies among gay and bisexual men.

Dr George Forgan-Smith is a GP, PrEP and HIV prescriber in Melbourne Australia. He is a keen educator and advocate for gay men’s health as well as sexual health literacy.

Associate Professor at Monash University, Australia. He is a very experienced modeller, epidemiologist and health economist in HIV/STI research and published extensively in the area (>120 papers). He has a strong background in big data analysis, computational research and applications of machine learning. His research informs health policies.

Peter is Director of the Gay Men’s Sexual Health research group at the University of Auckland. He has a 20 year career in HIV prevention theory, research and policy. Current projects include HIV behavioural and epidemiological surveillance, PrEP, HPV and gonorrhoea vaccines, sexual orientation data collection and illicit drug use.
