Hilary's PhD topic was women buying sex, her Master's topic was men buying sex, and she has a Master's in Health Science (Sexual Health). She lives and works in Canberra as a private sex therapist.

Shoshana Rosenberg is a queer researcher currently working with Curtin University, having completed a Masters of Sexology through their School of Public Health in 2017. Her research focuses on gender diversity, queer sexuality, and queer theory as applied to music and other forms of creative media.

She is a trained social researcher with a background in nursing and midwifery. She has recently completed her Masters Degree in Communication and Social Change where she applied her expertise in participatory and mixed qualitative method research in Papua New Guinea. She specializes in HIV, gender, sexuality and social change.

Christy Newman is Associate Professor at the UNSW Centre for Social Research in Health. She is interested in both experiences and representations of health, sexuality and relationships, particularly in relation to sexual and reproductive health, blood borne virus prevention and care, child and family wellbeing, migrant health, and Aboriginal health.

Dr Alexandra Gibson is a Research Fellow in the School of Public Health and Manager of the Qualitative Research Network Hub at UNSW Sydney.
