Charlene Gardiner (nee McAdam) is from the Big River First Nation. She completed the Licensed Practical Nursing program in 2005. Charlene's career in nursing has been over a span of 13 years. Her first position as a nurse began at Saskatoon City Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. In 2015, she moved back to her community to work in the BRFN Health Center. Her work led her into running the Direct Observe Therapy for the Suboxone program in 2016. As a part of this initiative, she also oversees the "Know Your Status”, Harm Reduction and "Hepatitis C" prevention/intervention programs.

Dr. Skinner is an Infectious Disease specialist and Assistant Professor at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada. He provides HIV and Hepatitis C outreach clinics in 11 different sites serving 21 Indigenous communities throughout Saskatchewan to improve access to care and reduce health disparities for Indigenous people. He has been working in Big River First Nation since 2010 and his research is focused on developing community led integrated care models in HIV, Hepatitis C and chronic disease.

She is a Professor of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Preventive Medicine at the University of New Mexico.
