Magdalena Simonis, a GP with more than 25 years of clinical experience, has explored aspects contributing to increased requests for labiaplasty. She has authored the first ever guide for general practitioners and other health professionals, providing background and management guidance through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Megan is the Deputy Director of the Behaviours and Health Risks Program and Head of Sexual Health and Young People's Health Research at the Burnet Institute

Hilary’s current PhD topic at UNSW is about women who buy sex, having previously completed a Masters of Applied Science thesis about men who buy sex. Hilary’s background is nursing and counselling, and a Masters of Health Science in sexology at USyd and works as sex therapist in Canberra.

Kathleen is a Psychologist who is undertaking a PhD in Medicine. Her interests are Child and Adolescent Health, particularly focused on how early life influences inform upon later behaviours, particularly for girls.

Lauren is a clinical psychology PhD student at the Australian National University in Canberra. She is currently conducting research into the effects of free internet pornography on young people’s sexual behaviours and attitudes. She is completing training to become a clinical psychologist with a focus on relationships and sex therapy.

Dr Jessie Gunson is a medical sociologist, qualitative researcher, and lecturer in Health Sciences at Flinders University. She is a member of the South Australia Abortion Action Coalition and her research interests are in reproductive justice, and the sociology of relationships and wellbeing.
