Samantha Liu is a Chinese Community Health Worker working with the Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland. She completed her bachelor degree in medicine in China in 2008 and PhD in Neuroscience in Australia in 2013. She has been working with the Chinese-speaking community in Queensland for more than two years.

A medical graduate & skilled-migrant, obtained MPH at the University of Melbourne in 2006, worked with BBVs priority populations and worked as a NAATI accredited professional translator in community development. During past five years, from health promotion officer to current role, all skills contribute greatly to the work at HepVIC.

Sandy is the Programs Manager at Hepatitis NSW, and has been in this role for 16 months. Sandy holds a BHSc and a MPH from University of Sydney. Sandy has worked in the health sector for over 20 years, primarily in nutrition higher education and clinical practice.

Evelyn Pe has been working with Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland as bilingual health worker for more than 10 years. She completed her degree in pharmacy in 1983. She is an active member of Australian Myanmar Friendship Association Queensland and volunteers for the community for more than 20 years.

I am a Peer Educator at Hepatitis Victoria, a PhD candidate in Development Studies at the University of Melbourne, and the president of the Cambodian Australian Network of Students in Victoria. I have a decade of experience working for non-governmental organisations in gender and women’s rights in Cambodia.

Sonam is the Media Officer at the Diversity Programs and Strategy Hub, specializing in engaging diverse community media.
