Biography

Louisa Picco is a postgraduate scholar who has just completed her PhD which focused on identifying prescription opioid related risks via prescription drug monitoring programs and clinical screening tools. Louisa is also interested in exploring the impact of policy changes on population outcomes amongst people prescribed opioids.

Biography

Simon Clay is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at NDARC, UNSW. His research focuses on the relationship between drug use and well-being among gender diverse individuals with a particular focus on community, risk, and identity. Simon's work extends into mental health and substance dependency and drug trends within minority communities.

Biography

Dr Tina Lam is a Research Fellow at the Monash Addiction Research Centre, at Monash University. Dr Lam's research interests are in alcohol policy and opioid-related harms. She has previously investigated opioid related harms using data from ambulance callouts, emergency department presentations and biological samples.

Dr Ting Xia is a research fellow of the Monash Addiction Research Centre at Monash University. Her current research focuses on enabling evidence-informed policy to address Australia's opioid crisis. She has extensive experience in a wide range of statistical analysis and survey design.
