Kate is an Addiction Medicine and Public Health Physician at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and a Conjoint Professor at the University of Sydney. Rob is a senior Alcohol, Tobacco and other Drugs Worker based in Townsville.

Dr. Siobhan O’Dean is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Matilda Centre at the University of Sydney. She is investigating the developmental course of alcohol use disorder in adolescents and young adults, as well as evaluating the effects of school-based prevention programmes on mental health and substance use outcomes.

Robert Ali is an Public Health Physician and former Clinical Director at DASSA. He is an Associate Professor at University of Adelaide, and sits on a number of Expert Advisory Committees for WHO, ANACAD, and NHMRC. Matthew Stevens is a researcher at UofA. He holds a PhD in psychological medicine.

Tata de Jesus has 5 years’ experience in the alcohol and other drugs sector; her interests lie in workforce development, increasing capacity in data collection and enhancing service provision to CALD clients. Tata is a Program Manager at the Network of Alcohol and other Drugs Agencies (NADA).

Megan is a research officer at CAPR. Alongside her PhD which aims to extend our understanding of what children know about alcohol, Megan is contributing to the broader policy work of the centre and has an interest in parents alcohol consumption practices and news media analysis of representations of alcohol.

Dr Thornton is a Senior Research Fellow and Program lead for Digital Interventions and Engagement at the Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use. Her research aims to identify effective ways digital technologies can be leveraged to reduce chronic disease risk and improve people’s mental health.
