Welcome to the registration site for the 13th International Conference on Health and Hepatitis in Substance Users (INHSU 2025), taking place at the Century City Convention and Exhibition Centre, Cape Town, South Africa from Tuesday 14 - Friday 17 October 2025.

By completing an online registration to attend the conference, you agree to the Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy the Secretariat's Privacy Policy, INHSU Code of Conduct, and acknowledge the INHSU Language Guide

Become an INHSU Member

INHSU’s global network is committed to creating a world where people who use drugs have equitable access to the services, treatment, and care they need to live healthier lives.

Members receive discounted rates to the INHSU annual conference, alongside professional development opportunities and the ability to contribute to the governance of the organisation, by voting at the annual General Assembly Meeting and/or standing for election to join our Governing Board.

Membership is free for students, post-doctoral researchers within 3 years of finishing PhD, and community members, 30 EURO for nurses, allied health and LMIC, and 90 EURO for all other membership types.

INHSU 2025 Community Day

The Community Day is open to delegates with living or lived experience of drug use. The INHSU Community Day is a vital part of the INHSU Conference, bringing together people with experience of using drugs and ensuring their voice is amplified during the conference and beyond. The day is organised for the community, by the community, led by the INHSU Community Committee.

Early-Mid Career Researchers (EMCR) & Community Networking Event

Open to all EMCRs and people with living and lived experience of drug use attending INHSU 2025, this networking event provides a chance to break down barriers and connect with people with interests in the health of people who use drugs. This event is scheduled ahead of the main conference to help build connections to last throughout and after the conference. This event is organised collaboratively by the INHSU Community Committee and the INHSU EMCR Special Interest Group.

Prisons Networking and Panel

A dedicated networking event designed for professionals working in prisons and jails globally. This semi-structured session will foster meaningful connections, facilitate knowledge exchange, and promote the sharing of best practices in hepatitis C service delivery within prison settings. Whether you are a healthcare provider, researcher, policymaker, or advocate, this event offers a unique opportunity to engage with peers facing similar challenges and to explore innovative strategies for scaling up hepatitis C testing and treatment in prisons and jails. The event will open with a brief presentation on the epidemiology of infectious diseases in prisons, setting the scene for discussion. This will be followed by case study presentations showcasing innovative and effective models of care in prison settings. Delegates will then participate in a structured networking activity designed to connect them with peers working in related areas, concluding with an informal reception to continue conversations and build connections.
