HIV&AIDS Trainee Case Presentation Breakfast

The Case Presentation Breakfast provides an opportunity for trainees and early career clinicians to present difficult cases for discussion with peers. It offers the presenter valuable presentation experience, clinical guidance and the presenters selected are in the running to win a complimentary registration to the 2027 conference as part of the ASHM ECR Awards. We encourage mentors and experienced clinicians to attend to provide expert guidance in discussions. Trainees attend for free!

HIV Unwrapped 3.0

From the HIV pandemic’s origins in the early 1980’s to the present day, art emerges as a powerful tool, fostering empathy, challenging misconceptions and amplifying the voices and diverse experiences of those living with HIV.

HIV Unwrapped helps explore the intersection between HIV science, innovation and visual artistry - envisioning new creative responses to HIV whilst paying tribute to how artistic expression has helped shape the medical, cultural and political response to HIV.

In conjunction with the Australasian HIV&AIDS Conference, ASHM is delighted to announce a special runway show of HIV Unwrapped garments from around the world - celebrating the best in HIV science seen through the lens of emerging fashion designers.

This event is open to both conference delegates and the general public. Tickets are limited.

Drinks and nibbles will be served from 5pm, for a 6pm runway start.

At 40 days or less prior to Check-In any cancellation will be charged the equivalent of 100% stay. In the event of a “No Show” on the date of arrival, full cancellation penalties apply to all nights of the stay. Payments made by credit card will be subject to a 1.4% surcharge on the total amount being paid. To include breakfast in the accommodation rate, please indicate this in the special requests field during registration. Breakfasts booked on site are charged at $38.00 per person.

ASHM is seeking scholarship contributions from companies, industry, government and individuals. All donations of $2.00 and over are tax deductible. Community funding has been drastically cut in recent years. Registered delegates are liable for any damages caused by the delegate to the conference venues, accommodations rooms, conference supplier equipment or conference organiser’s equipment. If paying by EFT you must accept all bank fees incurred by your banking institution (if applicable). We will not deem registrations as fully paid if the full cost of the registration fee is not remitted.
