Jay Stocker, a talented up-and-coming jazz and contemporary vocalist, is performing at this year's Youth Health Conference!
With smooth, rich vocals influenced by greats including Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday, Jay sucks you in with her beautiful tone and raw emotions that shine through in a variety of different styles.
Jay has been a fixture across Sydney's vibrant music scene, collaborating with numerous gifted young musicians in a variety of different venues across Sydney. Since selling out her three headline shows at the acclaimed "Lazybones Jazz Lounge" in Marrickville, Jay has begun her tertiary music journey at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, majoring in Jazz Voice. Similarly, she performed at the renowned Qudos Bank Arena as a backing vocalist for an audience of over 20,000 people. She has also been seen performing around Sydney with one of the Sydney Conservatorium's big bands as the lead vocalist and part of the trombone section. Jay was a lead character in the feature-length musical movie, “Plan B,” which premiered in cinemas and had its soundtrack released on streaming services.
Joined by fellow Conservatorium student and piano player, Olly Williams, Jay is excited to bring you a night of contemporary-jazz fusion that you won't want to miss!
