Tracks
.
Monday, August 13, 2018
4:15 PM - 5:45 PM
Hall M (Ground Floor)

Details

Learning Objectives - To understand the optimal set of indicators for measuring HBV and HCV elimination progress and the available sources of data in Australia that can be feasibly accessed to measure these indicators; - To assist health services and local health areas to understand HBV and HCV indicators that might be able to be measured at the local level and how they can be tracking their own progress; - To understand the challenges in measuring and in achieving elimination targets

Brief Overview

• What is the role of local responses to elimination or micro-elimination in overcoming the challenges and maintaining the momentum?
• What data is available to evaluate progress by priority populations/settings
• What indicators can be developed to ensure we can clearly identify whether any of these priority populations are being left behind/at risk of being left behind as we track towards viral hepatitis elimination?
