Key collaborators in reducing barriers to HCV care for people accessing specialist alcohol and other drug services in WA, have come together to share insights in an interactive simulated experience. The workshop takes delegates on the journey of the WA alcohol and other drug sector in identifying solutions and implementing change across six years of supported activity. Delegates will experience a peer led education session and an opportunity to apply a capability building tool in a simulated service. Critical success factors will be shared, offering delegates the opportunity to explore where their sector/service could support HCV systems change, and how a similar process may benefit their sector, organisation or service.

As a lived-experience peer worker at PBHRWA for ten years, Peta has designed and implemented peer-education projects and worked in mobile health clinics. Currently, Peta’s main roles are Overdose Prevention, Communication, and Reporting, however she continues to work in peer-education, delivers workforce development training to other agencies and guest lectures to universities.
