Biography

Tom Snelling is a clinical scientist, Director of Health and Clinical Analytics at the University of Sydney School of Public Health, and infectious diseases physician at the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network. He leads national collaborative research using Bayesian methods to improve immunisation, gastroenteritis, food allergy prevention, and cystic fibrosis outcomes.

Biography

Professor Matthews is an Infectious Diseases Physician, the Program Head, Therapeutic Research and Vaccine Program at the Kirby Institute, and the Head of Infectious Diseases at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. She is a UNSW Scientia Fellow and an NHMRC Leadership Fellow. Her research interests include viral hepatitis, HIV and COVID-19.

Dr Nick Walsh is a clinician and epidemiologist. A former WHO and PAHO Regional Advisor for Viral Hepatitis, he has led global hepatitis elimination, guideline development, validation strategies, and vaccine policy. His career has focused on national action to implement elimination.
