Details
The Australian Government released the Fourth National Hepatitis B Strategy 2025–2026 and the Sixth National Hepatitis C Strategy 2025–2026 in March 2026. Covering the period from now until 2030, the Strategies are an important roadmap for how Australia can meet its elimination goals for hepatitis B and hepatitis C. But a roadmap is one thing—implementing these ambitious policy documents is another.
This session will bring together leaders from across the national responses to hepatitis B and hepatitis C to reflect on the publication of the Strategies and their respective priorities for implementation. Each panellist will give a brief presentation on implementation of the Strategies, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A.
The session will also include an update on the process to develop Implementation Action Plans for the National Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C Strategies.
