Isabelle is a Senior Project Officer with the Hepatitis B team at ASHM. Isabelle is passionate about equitable and safe access to care for all members of the community. Isabelle has a range of experience working in community health and health promotion including education, policy and advocacy and research.

Biography

Skye O’Halloran is a Senior Project Officer at ASHM. With a bachelor’s degree in international studies, Skye has a range of experience in the non-profit sector, focusing on community development and capacity building practices that centres those most impacted. At ASHM Skye works predominately in hepatitis B education and projects for primary healthcare workforce.

Biography

Associate Professor Thomas Tu leads a research group at the Westmead Institute for Medical Research focusing on developing an HBV cure and mitigating the associated liver cancer. He also lives with chronic Hepatitis B, providing him with unique perspectives as a researcher, patient, and advocate. He established the online support forum HepBCommunity.org and founded Hepatitis B Voices Australia, an advocacy group led by the affected community.
