NSW Health is a national leader in its response to eliminating hepatitis C as a public health concern.
This session will provide guidance on how NSW Health leverages strong partnerships across the health sector to improve hepatitis C care pathways. This session will include speakers from NSW Health and Non-Government Organisations who will provide insights into evidence-based projects that are rolled out in different settings, reaching priority populations and improving their health outcomes.
This session will be delivered in a presentation and panel style setting. Each partner will present a high level 10 minute overview followed by a group panel discussion at the conclusion of the presentations.

Annabelle is the Manager of the Hepatitis Policy and Programs Unit at the NSW Ministry of Health. In this role, Annabelle is responsible for the development and management of the NSW Government response to hepatitis B and hepatitis C. She is passionate about providing equitable health care for vulnerable populations and achieving hepatitis C elimination in NSW.

Rochelle is a passionate advocate and community leader dedicated to supporting individuals with lived and living experience of drug use. As the Harm Reduction Services Manager at NUAA, she spearheads impactful initiatives aimed at providing essential support and resources to communities across New South Wales. With her extensive experience and deep commitment to harm reduction, Rochelle coordinates NUAA's fixed site primary NSP + NSP postal service, peer-led HCV mobile testing and outreach activities and the DanceWize NSW program - empowering her team of staff and volunteers to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those they serve. Through her leadership and advocacy, Rochelle continues to be a driving force in promoting health equity and social justice for all.

Steven is an experienced senior executive that covers government, for-profit and charity sectors. He has been a health-sector CEO for 15 years and previously held leadership roles in Queensland and NSW government, including as a ministerial advisor. A proud Queenslander, Steven lives in inner Sydney with his 3 beagles (threagles).

Alexandra Wade is a Hepatology CNC and works for North Coast Public Health and AOD services in Mid-North Coast NSW. She is Principal Investigator on several HCV related research projects. Alex is the current secretary for the Australasian Hepatology Association and a Public Officer for Frankly Healthcare Association.
