11:45 AM - 12:45 PMBiography
I am a Noongar man born in Perth. Worked lived in Northam which is a country town in the wheat belt 1 hour and 30mins drive east out of Perth I started my working journey in health there where I worked in the AMS for 5 years doing mostly community engagement work, but I have found that I have a passion in clinical work and so I moved to Perth to work for Derbarl Yerrigan Heath Service where I have been since, I am always looking for opportunities to engage in my community I am currently on the comity for a charity called Leading Youth Forward (LYF), I have been in health as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner for 11 years now where I found a new passion for Sexual Health. I have started my new role this year in the sexual health team at Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service, my hope is to get this subject of health a normal topic to talk about with our clients when they come through the clinic.
