Dr Virginia Macdonald has worked in international public health for the past 20 years, with a focus on key populations, HIV and hepatitis prevention and testing. She has worked and lived in several countries in the Asia Pacific region. She currently works for the World Health Organisation in the Global HIV, hepatitis and STIs programmes.

Darryl O’Donnell is the Chief Executive Officer of Health Equity Matters, the federation for Australia’s leading HIV and LGBTIQA+ health organisations. Health Equity Matters, formerly AFAO, works to end health inequity for its communities in Australia, Asia and the Pacific, with HIV the core of its mission until the epidemic is over for everyone.

Joe Rich began his 12 year career at the Burnett Foundation Aotearoa as Senior Social Marketer and has held the roles of Marketing and Communications Director, Operations Director, and most recently Chief Executive. He was Instrumental in the Foundation’s PrEP advocacy work, ensuring medication is both affordable and accessible for our communities.
