Caroline completed her medical degree and GP training in NSW where she worked until moving to Qld in 1998. She has worked in Sydney, Cairns and Brisbane in various settings including general practice, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, Family Planning Qld (FPQ), FP NSW and Qld Health. She currently works for the Institute of Urban Indigenous Health in Brisbane as Senior GP Sexual and Reproductive Health and is one of the Directors of Iris Health Education. As well as being active in clinical practice and teaching, she is a recognised expert in contraception and has published research in implants and IUDs.

Shannon is program manager for the Birthing in Our Communities (BiOC) hub at the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH). Shannon has worked in community as a counsellor/case manager for the last 5 years working in Aboriginal medical services, gaining experience in leading and supervising teams during this time. She has also worked more broadly in the family services and support space for the last 12 years. Shannon has a passion for working with families and drawing strength from culture through storytelling to provide the best service delivery to the first nations community of South-east

Erin was born on Butchulla country, Maryborough Qld. Her work as a non-Indigenous clinical nurse and public health officer in Far North Queensland, fuels her enquiry into culturally safe pregnancy options care. She completed a Masters in SRH/ public health through University of Sydney in 2021. She coordinates the Queensland termination of pregnancy (ToP) community of practice and is co-chair of the Queensland ToP working group.

Lisa is a Worimi Sistergirl living in the Northern Rivers NSW , she has been an active member and advocate of the Sistergirl and Brotherboy community for over 20 years . Lisa attended the Sistergirl conference on Magnetic Island in 1999 and later sat on the board of the Anwernekenhe Nation Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander HIV Alliance as the national Sistergirl and Brotherboy rep . In 2012 Lisa started the facebook support and advocacy group Sistergirls and Brotherboys Australia .
Lisa is also a member of Tekwabi Giz a national collaboration of people and organisations from Aboriginal, Torres Strait and South Sea Islander descent who are working with LGBTI people across Australia. In partnership with the National LGBTI Health Alliance.
