Amit Saha is a Lecturer in the Kirby Institute , Faculty of Medicine, UNSW. He is a medical epidemiologist, particularly interested in infectious disease surveillance and clinical studies. He has professional experience in a wide range of fields in infectious diseases epidemiology and large field-based clinical studies on enteric vaccines.

Corey Markus is a senior medical scientist, beginning his career in paediatric biochemistry and has recently moved into point-of-care testing for viral hepatitis at the Flinders University International Centre for Point-of-Care Testing. His other areas of interest include, laboratory harmonization and performance verification with membership on international committees.

Deane has a background in molecular infectious diseases and serology with experience working in both private and public pathology laboratories. As a member of the RCPAQAP team for over 15 years, her role has been to develop and manage external quality assurance programs for the molecular detection of infectious diseases.

Leonie Ruape is a laboratory scientist by profession and has a background in working with Surveillance and Emergency Response Unit. She currently works with Clinton Health Access Initiative as the Program Manager for the lab system strengthening program focusing on Covid-19 Diagnostics to accelerate testing in Papua New Guinea.

Peter completed his Bachelors of Science (Advanced) with Honours Class 1 and The University Medal in Microbiology in 2018. After graduating he has been working at the RCPAQAP as a Scientist, first in the Biosecurity discipline and now in the Molecular Infectious Diseases discipline.

Mary Duan is the Technical Officer support to Laboratory Strengthening work. Ms Duan has a background in Medical Laboratory Sciences and has extensive experience working in Peripheral Laboratories and strong relationships with Provincial Laboratories.
