Dr Shih is a senior health economist with demonstrated expertise and experience in designing and implementing trial-based economic assessments, performing economic evaluations and building economic models. She has training backgrounds in Health Economics, Public Health, and Biomedical Science and is a Senior Research Fellow at the Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney.

Biography

Huei-Jiaun Wu is a Scientia PhD candidate at Kirby Institute. Her PhD research focus on evaluating impact and cost impact of HCV point-of-care testing among key population in Asia-Pacific region. Her research interests include HIV/AIDS, HCV and other sexually transmitted diseases control, mathematical modeling and cost-effectiveness analysis and the mHealth.

Bongkot Soonthornsata is a Senior Technical Associate for Laboratory Systems Strengthening Program at CHAI in Lao PDR. She was trained in Health Sciences specifically in control and prevention of emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases with more than ten years’ experience as a technical coordinator and as a research fellow.

His research is to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of point-of-care testing for infectious diseases (e.g., HIV) in Asia-Pacific using mathematical modelling. Quang's research interests include mathematical modelling, data analytics and health economic evaluations using modelling.

Biography

Maria Rosezoil Rioja is a Technical Advisor on the Global Diagnostics Team at Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI). She provides strategic guidance and implementation support to 5 countries in South East Asia and Pacific on laboratory systems strengthening and on implementation of Antigen RDTCOVID-19 Diagnostics. She also supported work across CHAI labs program in 10 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. She was involved in the TB/HIV integration operational research and POC testing implementation.

Dr Wulandari is a research fellow at the Kirby Institute. She has been leading several research on point-of-care testing in Indonesia, including those looking into acceptability and challenges in implementing HIV self-testing in the community settings; HIV, hepatitis, and syphilis rapid testing at antenatal care settings; and COVID-19 Ag RDT.
