Dr. Tashi Dendup is working as a Sr. Health Program Manager with Save the Children. He completed his PhD from the University of Wollongong, Australia, and also holds a master’s degree in Public Health. Dr. Tashi previously worked for Bhutan’s Ministry of Health for around 10 years.

Biography

Dr Virginia Macdonald is a public health professional who has worked for the WHO and other UN agencies for the past 17 years. She currently works for both the Western Pacific Regional Office as well at Headquarters for the Global HIV, Hepatitis and Sexually Transmitted Infections Programmes. The focus of her work in on HIV, viral hepatitis and STI prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care for key populations.

She has conducted research relating to access to care during pregnancy, unsafe abortion and sexually transmitted infections in pregnancy.
