Amelia Andrews is a Principal Scientist at the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA). As scientific lead for the Drugs and Infections workstream, she oversees the Unlinked Anonymous Monitoring (UAM) Survey of People Who Inject Drugs. The survey aims to measure the prevalence of blood-borne viruses (BBVs) and related risk and protective behaviours among people who inject drugs, informing public health action and supporting progress towards eliminating viral hepatitis.

Josh is a third year PhD candidate at the University of Bristol, with interests in epidemiology and infectious disease modelling.

Dr. Lily Ostrer is a clinical fellow in adult and pediatric infectious disease at the University of California San Diego. She is currently conducting modelling research with Dr. Natasha Martin on the impact of long-acting antiretroviral therapy among people who inject drugs. She has an interest in HIV, substance use-related infections, harm reduction, and prevention of perinatal infections.

Buhari Isumafe is a Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Adviser at the Society for Family Health (SFH), Nigeria, working on the UNITAID-funded Hepatitis C Combination Prevention in People Who Inject Drugs (HEPC3P) project. His work focuses on strengthening viral hepatitis prevention among key populations, particularly people who inject drugs (PWID), through harm reduction and innovative service delivery approaches. Prior to this role, he served as a State Team Lead under the Global Fund GC6 grant, where he led HIV prevention and treatment interventions for vulnerable populations. Buhari has contributed to the development of national tools, guidelines, and standard operating procedures that inform harm reduction programming in Nigeria. His interests include community-led health programming, long-acting prevention technologies, and improving access to integrated hepatitis and HIV services.
