Dr. Katherine Rudzinski is an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Research Associate in the School of Social Work, University of Windsor. Her community-based research examines how criminalization, institutional practices, violence, and intersecting inequities shape substance use-related harms. Her work informs strategies to reduce barriers to care and strengthen harm reduction and continuity-of-care pathways.

Thomas Rudge is a PhD candidate at the Kirby Institute, UNSW. His background in development studies informs an equity-focused approach that considers social and cultural factors shaping health and healthcare access. Using implementation science, his research enhances the adoption, scale-up, and sustainability of hepatitis C testing and treatment.

Dr. Azri is a Medical Officer at Clinical Research Center, Institute for Clinical Research, Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Kedah, Malaysia. He actively participates in research to improve health through evidence-based practices. His focus lies in hepatitis C epidemiology, trial design, and management strategies.

Nurse Mim has spent the past 9 years advancing Hepatitis C elimination through Point-of-Care fingerstick testing, improving early detection, treatment access, and equitable care for homeless, marginalised and incarcerated communities - all while wearing fabulous Hawaiian shirts and driving a bright yellow van named Ruby.

Ryan P. Westergaard, MD, PhD, MPH, is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Chief Medical Officer and State Epidemiologist for Communicable Diseases at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. His research focuses on improving prevention and treatment for HIV, viral hepatitis, and substance use disorder among marginalized populations, particularly people involved in the criminal legal system. He leads clinical and implementation research evaluating strategies to improve continuity of care during transitions from incarceration to the community, including nurse-led case management and other health system interventions that strengthen linkage to care and reduce treatment interruptions.

Shane is a research associate in the Viral Hepatitis Clinical Research Program at the Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney. His epidemiological research focuses on population-level analyses of hepatitis B- and C-related outcomes, utilising data linkage methodologies to inform public health interventions and support elimination strategies.

Zoe Soslow is the Deputy Director of the Overdose Response Unit for the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Public Safety. In this role she directs the City’s strategic vision for combatting the overdose crisis, develops and implements overdose prevention programming, and directs City resources to communities most in need.
