Tetiana Deshko is a senior public health leader with over 25 years of experience in HIV, hepatitis, and harm reduction programming in Ukraine and internationally. As Director of International Programs at Alliance for Public Health, she has led large-scale initiatives reaching over 250,000 people annually and contributing to a decline in new HIV infections in Ukraine - recognized as a model for Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Tetiana has managed multi-country programs across EECA, Asia, and Africa, established international courses such as Harm Reduction Academy. She is actively engaged in adapting public health responses within Ukraine’s humanitarian crisis context. Tetiana holds a PhD in social sciences and an MBA.

Loren is a Professor at the Centre for Social Research in Health, UNSW. Her research focuses on stigma and discrimination experienced by people living with blood-borne viruses such as HIV and viral hepatitis and the impact of this on health outcomes and quality of care.
