Michel Kazatchkine has over 30 years of experience in Global health as a physician, researcher, advocate, and diplomat. He is Emeritus Professor of Medicine at Université René Descartes, Paris and currently, a Senior Fellow with the Global Health Centre of the Geneva Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. He has served as French ambassador on health, Executive Director of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and as UN Special Envoy on HIV/AIDS in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. He has been a member of the Global Commission on Drug Policy since its inception in 2011and is a member of the Eastern and central European and central Asian commission on drugs.

Pavel Bém is a Czech politician and psychiatrist specialized in the field of drug policy design, management and implementation. He devoted most of his career in humanization of drug policies, decriminalization and drug policy reforms, nationally and internationally. As a former National Drug Coordinator he designed and implemented the first national drug policies. As a Member of the Parliament of the Czech Republic he introduced the bill on medical cannabis and in 2025 the bill on medical psilocybin. He was elected as a Mayor of Prague 6 District and subsequently elected two terms as a Lord Mayor of Prague.

Peter Sarosi is a human rights activist and drug policy expert, the director of the Budapest-based Rights Reported Foundation. He was the Director of the Drug Policy Program at the Hungarian Civil Liberties Union between 2004 and 2015. He is the founder and editor of the Drugreporter website since 2004, authored many articles and directed many films about harm reduction and drug policy reform. He is an advisory board member of the Correlation European Harm Reduction Network.

Isabel is Senior Coordinator for the Drug Policy Area at Dejusticia, where she focuses on documenting the differentiated impacts of drug policy on women, the intersections between drug policy reform and the right to health and transitional justice, and developing human rights-based advocacy strategies. She has served as consultant and advisor for the Global Commission on Drug Policy, the Latin American Inventory on Authoritarianism, and the Global Drug Policy Index at the University of Swansea. A member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network and Fellow of the Aspen Institute Colombia, Isabel brings a deeply regional and gender-sensitive perspective to global drug policy debates. Before joining Dejusticia, she advised international cooperation programs in conflict-affected areas and represented Colombia as a negotiator in multilateral fora. She holds a BA in Political Science from Universidad de los Andes and a Master in Development Studies from IHEID, Geneva.

Jason Altenberg is a Long-time leader in community-based complex care, advancing health equity, disease prevention, social care and harm reduction. Canada's decade long scale- up of harm reduction has seen popular and political retreat. He will highlight responses, strategies and community resilience against this backdrop
