Details
The workshop will provide a practical discussion of the importance of promoting client literacy and choice with OAMT based on the tools and lessons developed for the LADB study. Both peer educator and prescriber approaches to supporting client literacy and choice will be discussed in a panel discussion. Participants will review various case studies using a tool from the LADB study to help match clients to different OAMT medications. Participants will leave with a strengthened understanding of OAMT literacy and choice.

Biography
Mat Southwell is Managing and Technical Director of Coact Technical Support. Coact is a community-led training and consultancy company that supports harm reduction, drug treatment, and community mobilisation with people who use drugs in international development settings. Mat has supported client literacy and choice in Unitaid study.
