Harika Dasari is a PhD trainee at the Université de Montréal, in epidemiology and substance use research. Her doctoral work focuses on analyzing trends in overdose mortality in Canada, with a particular emphasis on the impact of housing instability and socioeconomic factors among people who inject drugs (PWID).

Biography

Dr. Oluwatosin Jegede is a Public Health Physician, Predictive Epidemiologist, and Cost-effectiveness Modeler. He previously worked with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) on prison health and harm reduction initiatives and is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Health at the University of California, San Diego. His research focuses on modeling opioid overdoses in California, evaluating the cost-effectiveness of hepatitis C treatments in India, and assessing how time-varying use of opioid agonist therapy influences HIV incidence risk in South Africa.
