Biography

Martha Papadopoulou is a nurse and a PhD candidate at the Medical School, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her main research focuses on populations at risk for HCV and HIV/AIDS. She served as the head nurse of a study, which explored the feasibility and impact of a public health system Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) intervention in the recently emerging HIV epidemic in Athens

Maggie Beiser is an adult nurse practitioner at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program, where she provides primary and specialized HIV, HCV, addiction, and gender care for people experiencing homelessness and/or using drugs. She founded the BHCHP HCV treatment program and leads its educational, research, and advocacy efforts.
