Her research focuses on community engagement to address substance use in rural and Tribal communities. Palombi is an advocate for substance use education and is active in organizations that include the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, the American Pharmacists Association, and the American Public Health Association; her teaching in the classroom and community focuses on harm reduction and substance use.
