Carla Treloar is Scientia Professor at the Centre for Social Research in Health at UNSW, Sydney Australia. Carla has published more than 300 peer-reviewed papers. She is co Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Drug Policy and served as senior editor for qualitative research for Addiction from 2018-2024.

Dr Lise Lafferty is a Senior Research Fellow with a co-appointment at at Centre for Social Research in Health and Kirby Institute at UNSW. Her research interests include people who inject drugs, people who are incarcerated, and risk experiences of infectious diseases and improving barriers to care.

Laura Palombi, PharmD, MPH, MAT is a professor at the University of Minnesota – College of Pharmacy on the Duluth campus. Her research focuses on community engagement to address substance use in rural and Tribal communities. Palombi is an advocate for substance use education and is active in organizations that include the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, the American Pharmacists Association, and the American Public Health Association; her teaching in the classroom and community focuses on harm reduction and substance use.
