Biography

Conor Ashleigh is a storyteller and communications specialist, who has worked with us to develop INHSU's 'Connecting with Care' film series, showcasing innovative models of hepatitis C care from across the globe. Conor takes a participatory approach to his work and places equal emphasis on the process of working with people and the importance of delivering compelling stories. Conor has worked in more than 40 countries globally, and has specific experience within the health, education, research, development and agriculture sectors.

Connecting with Care uses powerful storytelling to profile innovative models of care for hepatitis c elimination among people who use drugs. These films give a voice to the community, telling their stories and showcasing best practice from across the globe. Filmed by visual storyteller Conor Ashleigh on behalf of INHSU, the project aims to inspire community organisations, practitioners, advocates and policymakers by showcasing emerging and innovative best practice

Biography

Bridget Draper is a PhD Candidate at Burnet Institute/Monash University. Her PhD focuses on how to provide hepatitis C testing and treatment in resource-constrained settings, with two projects in Myanmar. One project implementing a community-based model of care and the second is evaluating the national tertiary-hospital based treatment program.
