Sophia holds an MPH and is currently pursuing a PhD with Monash University. Her research topics range from hepatitis C elimination to supporting the wellbeing of substance-using populations. She draws primarily on qualitative methodologies to explore the space in between individuals and society, illuminating processes that contribute to ill-health.

Xiao Zang, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Epidemiology at Brown University School of Public Health. His research primarily focuses on the prevention and treatment for HIV/AIDS and opioid overdose mortality using simulation modeling methods and health economic evaluations.
