Dr. Akiyama is an Assistant Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In addition to providing care to people living with HCV, HIV, and substance use disorders, he conducts research on HCV among socioeconomically marginalized populations with particular emphasis on HCV in the criminal justice system and sub-Saharan Africa.

Adelina is an epidemiologist with experience in research applicable to the study of drug use and drug-related harms, particularly HCV, and access to healthcare/prevention services for PWID. She is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Bristol pursuing infectious disease modelling work focusing on HCV in key populations.

Laurent, PharmD, is clinical project manager within the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi), an international non-for-profit research organization based in Switzerland developing safe, effective, and affordable treatments for the most neglected patients. He is currently working on the clinical development of a hepatitis C drug.

PhD researcher at Hasselt University. Mainly conducts research on Hepatitis C in high-risk groups in Belgium.

Ellen Heinsbroek is Principal Scientist for the Drug Use & Infections Team at the National Infection Service, Colindale, at Public Health England. She currently leads the Unlinked Anonymous Monitoring Survey.

KayLynn Gesner is a Hep C outreach worker for Central City Concern in Portland, OR, USA. She recently graduated with a Master's in Public Health, and has over 6 years of experience in houseless services and has interned in education and healthcare organizations in India.

Dr. Ilias Gountas is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Medical School of the University of Athens. His main research interests are focused on infectious disease modeling, health economics, and epidemiological studies on HCV/HIV. His research has helped inform the Greek HCV elimination Action Plan of the Ministry of Health.

Zoë Greenwald is a PhD student in Epidemiology at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto, a research assistant at the Centre for Drug Policy evaluation at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, Canada, and a doctoral trainee with the Canadian Network on Hepatitis C Research.

Joakim Hauge is a registered nurse with a master's degree in international health. He is currently an industry-sector Ph.D. student financed by AbbVie and the Norwegian Research Council. Previously he has held various positions in the public sector, humanitarian organizations and the pharmaceutical industry.

Laboratory Technologist by profession,Trained in ART, couple and addiction and HTS counselling. Worked for the PWID population & harm reduction services for a period of more than 13 years.

Clinical work partly as GP 1979—2013, most of the time also as doctor for people with substance use disorders (SUD). Work with the Norwegian Directorate of Health on National guidelines for assessment and treatment of patients with dual diagnosis. Since 2008 also research on HCV among PWID, PhD 2015.

I was graduated from the University of Medicine in 2012 and I have been working in public health since then. Over four years of research experience in HIV, tuberculosis, and harm reduction in Myanmar, I have published 28 papers in peer-reviewed international journals, including four as the first author.

Dr Lazarus leads the ISGlobal Health Systems Research Group, which includes viral hepatitis elimination studies. He is vice-chair of the EASL International Liver Foundation, is a core member of the Lancet Gastroenterology and Hepatology Commission on Viral Hepatitis and is a working group chair of the EASL-Lancet Liver Health Commission.

Dr. Lara Marquez is an infectious disease epidemiologist and modeler and current postdoctoral researcher at the University of California San Diego. Her research focuses at the intersection between hepatitis C and HIV transmission and prevention modeling and public policy to turn data-driven strategies into actionable public health solutions.

Mojca Maticic MD, PhD is Head of the Viral Hepatitis Unit and Head of the STI Outpatient Service at the Clinic for Infectious Diseases and Febrile Illnesses, University Medical Centre in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She is also a Full Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana

Health sociologist, works as principal scientist at European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) since 2000. She coordinates the area of drugs and prison at the EMCDDA, with the objective to improve data availability and comparability on drug problem and drug related interventions in prison across European countries.

Angela Morris is a 3rd-year medical student at Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology-Psychology at the University of New Brunswick Saint John and her Master of Public Health at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Pramod Ningombam currently works as a Project Coordinator since 2017 at CoNE, a community network of people who inject drugs in Manipur, India. Performing all documentations, database management and evaluation works. Has earned accolades for reporting and documenting on drug use and associated diseases.

Dr. Norah Palmateer currently works at Glasgow Caledonian University as a Senior Research Fellow and holds an honorary position with Public Health Scotland. Her main area of work relates to the epidemiology of infections among people who inject drugs and the evaluation of interventions to prevent their transmission.

Els Plettinckx works at Sciensano in the department of Lifestyle and Chonic Diseases. Within the illicit drugs unit, which is also the national focal point for Belgium appointed by EMCDDA, she collects, analyses and reports information about the demand and supply of illicit drugs in Belgium.

Adam Trickey is a Senior Research Associate in mathematical modelling and medical statistics at the University of Bristol.

Dr Stone is a Senior Research Associate in Health Infectious Disease Mathematical Modelling at the University of Bristol. A key focus of his research is the use of systematic reviews, epidemiological analyses and infectious disease modelling to evaluate the impact of social-structural variables on drug use outcomes.

Associate Professor of Epidemiology and Medical Statistics. Ηer work is mainly concentrated on people who use drugs and includes interventions to improve prevention, screening and linkage to care for infectious diseases (HCV, HIV, HBV, TB), assessment of risk behaviours as well as estimation of epidemiological parameters.

Daniëla's research interests include viral infections and co-infections (HIV and hepatitis C ) and complex epidemiological and statistical methods to analyse longitudinal data. Daniëla completed her PhD in Amsterdam and currently, Daniëla is working as a post-doctoral fellow at the Public Health Service of Amsterdam and the Burnet Institute, Australia.
