The latest updates to the Australian ARV guidelines will be presented. This will be followed by case-based discussions with a panel of local and international experts to provide real- world commentary around on the implementation of the Australian ARV guidelines.

  2. To apply these changes to current clinical practice.
  3. To hear both community and healthcare workforce perspectives on HIV management issues.

Dr Ming Lee is a Specialist in Sexual Health and HIV and the Director of the Canberra Sexual Health Centre, ACT, Australia. He also holds Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer appointments at Imperial College London, UK and the Australian National University School of Medicine and Psychology, Australia.

Biography

Assoc Professor Janine Trevillyan is the Head of Clinical Virology and HIV services and Deputy Director of Infectious Diseases and Immunology at Austin Health, Melbourne. She is also a researcher within the University of Melbourne at the Peter Doherty Institute of Infection and Immunity. She is an active member of the AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG). As an infectious diseases physician and clinical researcher her work focuses on understanding and preventing the long-term complications of HIV, particularly reducing cardiovascular risk and metabolic dysfunction.
