Biography
Doris is Section Head of the Blood Borne Viruses Laboratory at VIDRL. Her lab delivers specialised testing for HIV, HTLV, hepatitis A–E viruses and transplant viruses. Doris’s work focuses on HIV, with particular interest in the molecular mechanisms that drive antiretroviral drug resistance, and in viral diversity and transmission.

Biography
Dr Rachel Burdon is currently a Senior Staff Specialist and is the Deputy Director for the Sydney Local Health District Department of Sexual Health Medicine.
Prior to this she worked as a GP in a high HIV caseload general practice in Darlinghurst and has worked internationally for NGOs and multilateral partners to support the scale up of HIV prevention, care and treatment services in Vietnam and Papua New Guinea.
She is passionate about providing client centred, equitable and accessible HIV and Sexual Health Prevention, Care and Treatment services.

Staci is a Junior Medical Officer at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital and a University of Wollongong graduate. Following formative clinical experiences with the ISLHD Sexual Health Service, she developed a passion for sexual health medicine, with a particular focus on rural health equity and care for women living with HIV.
