Assoc Professor Janine Trevillyan is the Head of Clinical Virology and HIV services and Deputy Director of Infectious Diseases at Austin Health, Melbourne Australia. And an honorary Associate Professor within the Department of Infectious Diseases, University of Melbourne at the Peter Doherty Institute of Infection and Immunity.

Doris is Section Head of the Blood Borne Viruses Laboratory at VIDRL. Her lab delivers specialised testing for HIV, HTLV, hepatitis A–E viruses and transplant viruses. Doris’s work focuses on HIV, with particular interest in the molecular mechanisms that drive antiretroviral drug resistance, and in viral diversity and transmission.

Josh Borja is a Senior Project Officer at ASHM Health, working across HIV s100 prescriber education and program administration. His work focuses on prescriber course delivery, accreditation, and workforce development initiatives including the integration of PozQoL into routine clinical practice. He is based in Sydney.

Elizabeth Birbilis has been the Acting Manager of the Blood borne virus and sexually transmissible infections team for the last 2 years and prior to that she was the viral hepatitis and HIV policy officer. Through her work, she strives to address health inequalities through capacity building, collaboration and partnerships.

Dr Ming Lee is the Director of Canberra Sexual Health Centre and a Specialist in Sexual Health, HIV and gender affirming care. He also holds Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer appointments at ANU School of Medicine and Psychology, Australia, and Imperial College London, UK.

Mr Amirpasha Rafizadeh is a student doctor at Monash University and a research assistant at the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre. His work focuses on public health and infectious diseases, with a particular interest in sexual health and women’s health and improving preventive care.

Dr Rachel Burdon is currently a Senior Staff Specialist and is the Deputy Director for the Sydney Local Health District Department of Sexual Health Medicine. Prior to this she worked as a GP in a high HIV caseload general practice in Darlinghurst and has worked internationally for NGOs and multilateral partners to support the scale up of HIV prevention, care and treatment services in Vietnam and Papua New Guinea. She is passionate about providing client centred, equitable and accessible HIV and Sexual Health Prevention, Care and Treatment services.

Staci is a Junior Medical Officer at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital and a University of Wollongong graduate. Following formative clinical experiences with the ISLHD Sexual Health Service, she developed a passion for sexual health medicine, with a particular focus on rural health equity and care for women living with HIV.

Dr Damneek Dua is a Sexual Health Registrar based in Sydney, Australia, with a special interest in HIV medicine and public health. She has previously published original research on HIV-Associated Neurocognitive Disorder and is passionate about pursuing a fulfilling career in sexual health and HIV medicine.
