Dr Lily Moor is an early career researcher at the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society at La Trobe University, specialising in quantitative and qualitative studies of young people’s sexual health, school-based Relationships and Sexuality Education, and digital sexual practice.

Flynn is a junior doctor and public health researcher with interests in sexual health, health advocacy and systems change at the intersection of primary care, health promotion and health professions education.

Dr Erica Plummer is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Bioinformatician with the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre and the School of Translational Medicine at Monash University. Erica’s research uses sequencing data to understand the relationship between the genital microbiome and common genital infections and STI syndromes.

Budi Sudarto (they/them) is a part time Research Officer at Melbourne Sexual Health Centre and the Director of Ananda Training and Consultancy. Budi is a former international student with extensive experience in sexual health promotion, program design and delivery, and delivery, ad qualitative research. Budi is a non-binary queer.

Laura Pendal is a public health professional with experience across clinical, program, and policy roles, currently working on the syphilis response. She has a passion for sexual health, particularly in prevention, equity, and stigma. She seeks to utilise practical, collaborative, evidence-based approaches that make real impacts to communities.

Dr Emma Sweeney is a Senior Research Fellow at The Frazer Institute, UQ. Dr Sweeney’s research focuses on the development of molecular assays to detect infectious diseases and characterise antimicrobial resistance, with a particular focus on the STIs Mycoplasma genitalium, Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Treponema pallidum.

Claire Bavor is a PhD student in the Evaluation and Implementation Science Unit (Centre for Health Policy, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health). Claire is exploring the implementation of flexible models of HPV self-collection for cervical screening to improve equity in the Australian National Cervical Screening Program.

Phyu Mon is a medical doctor by training and an early-career research fellow at Monash University and Melbourne Sexual Health Centre. Her work focuses on AI-powered interventions and innovative prevention strategies for infectious diseases, including doxycycline post-exposure prophylaxis (doxyPEP).
